How To Use

• Prepare to color: Do a skin test 48 hours before each application even if you have already used coloring products.
• Before you color, make sure you have an old towel to protect your clothing and household surfaces, and a clock for timing.
• Read the in-box instructions to make sure you are familiar with Root-Touch Up application. Then you're ready to begin.

Mix:

• Put on gloves.
• Place the plastic mixing tray on a flat, stable surface where it won't tip over. A bathroom vanity works great!
• Pour the Color Activating Lotion (the bottle labeled ""2"") into the mixing tray, then add the Permanent Color Creme (the tube labeled ""1"").
• Use the Precision Color Brush to mix the contents together until the color is completely blended.

Apply:

• Apply color to roots. Make sure your hair is dry, then gently brush or comb it into your preferred style.
• Use the Precision Color Brush to apply color to your most visible roots at the hairline around the face, part and temples. Be sure to saturate your most visible roots with color.
• Once your done applying the color, set your timer for 10 minutes.
• Tip: If your grays are really stubborn, leave color on for up to 15 minutes. Make sure to cover roots at hairline, part and temples.

Rinse & Go:

• When your 10 minutes are up, rinse hair with warm water until the water runs clear.
• Style as usual. There's no need to shampoo. You've got natural-looking color that will last for 3 weeks!

Precautions:

• Eye: Contact may cause mild to moderate transient irritation. Redness and/or stinging may occur.
• Skin: May cause irritation or sensitization in sensitive individuals. Depending on the nature of any reaction experienced, a similar reaction may occur on subsequent uses of hair color products.
• Inhalation: May cause mild, transient respiratory irritation. Avoid prolonged contact to concentrated vapors.
• Ingestion: Product used as intended is not expected to cause gastrointestinal irritation. Accidental ingestion of undiluted product may cause mild gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

How To Apply Your Color

• Do a patch test 48 hours before coloring
• When you’re ready to color, mix the colorant (#2) into the developer (#1) and shake it up!
• Apply hair color to your roots, making sure not to miss any spots
• Set your timer for 10 minutes (15 for stubborn grays!)
• Rinse with warm water until water runs clear and condition. Done and done!
