  • Brilliantly intense hair color No ammonia or peroxide Formulated in Italy Ready to use
ion Color Brilliance™ Semi-Permanent Brights are hi-fashion hair color shades designed to give vivid, boldly intense results. In 20 to 40 minutes ion Color Brilliance™ Brights deposits color on pre-bleached natural or color treated hair. ion Color Brilliance™ Brights can be applied to pre-lightened hair and natural or colored hair.
  • ion Color Brilliance Semi-Permanent Brights Hair Color can be applied two different ways.

    1. For the most vibrant result apply to pre-lightened hair. Pre-lighten with Ion Color Brilliance Ammonia Free Powder Lightener (not included) to the desired level of lift. It is important to note that the degree of lift achieved with pre-lightening will directly affect the vibrancy and intensity of the final result. Underlying exposed contributing pigment must be taken into consideration. If the hair is orange or a dark yellow this will contribute to the final color.

To achieve a boldly intense brights color, pre-lighten to the level indicated in the table below for each specific color. After pre-lightening, shampoo with ion Color Defense Shampoo. Dry the hair. Apply chosen brights shade directly on dry hair and process for 20 to 40 minutes depending on the level of color intensity desired. Strand test every 5-10 minutes. Heat is not necessary for processing if the hair has been pre-lightened. After processing, thoroughly rinse and apply ion® Color Brilliance After Color Treatment to close the cuticle and lock the color deep inside the hair.

    2. Color shine overlays on natural or color treated hair. Apply brights directly onto natural or color treated dry hair and process for 20 to 40 minutes. For more intense vibrant results, cover the hair with a processing cap and process with heat. Strand test every 5-10 minutes.

After processing is completed, thoroughly rinse and apply ion Color Brilliance After Color Treatment to close the cuticle and lock color deep inside the hair.

  • ion Color Brilliance Semi-Permanent Brights Hair Color are non-oxidative dyes that can be extremely long lasting and may become permanent. Apply to dry, pre-lighten hair.

Should removal be necessary from hair, it is important to know that lightener may not completely remove Brights from hair. ion Color Corrector is not recommended for removal of Brights. It is designed for permanent and Demi-Permanent color removal.

Always read the product packaging and inserts for complete directions, instructions, and warnings, and make sure to perform both the strand test and the patch test before applying your color.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as impressed as last time I bought this magenta a week ago, and i had bought it for the first time a few years back. Back then it worked wonderfully very vibrant and it lasted. This time the same colour name but the box has changed to a lighter colour but ithought oh its just more recent design no biggy. I use it on hair that had been bleach 4 times (i have hazelnut hair) then i waited a few days to get it greased and let the bleach set. I leave it in evenly for more than 40 minutes and when i showered in cold water barely anything stuck and my roots and tips are still blond, it came out all in the shower i dyed my skin in many places my face looks like it has hives. This did not happen last time. I used dawn to untint my skin but im still left with poor results. My shampoo bar is made of natural ingredients i did not use conditioner this time and i had a cap on till it came time for my hair to be washed... i did all the preventative things. I wanted so bad to put a good review because you guys are better for the planet. :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as bright as I had hoped It’s a very faint color. I used two boxes and it still barley made a difference in color.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money!! This product is garbage. I bought 2 tubes of the Rose to put over my platinum blonde hair. And guess what? It all washed out DURING THE FIRST WASH. Save your hard earned money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Colour very faint Very faint colour, would be better off using a stronger pigmented dye and diluting

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good I’ve tried a few different colours, I like to dye the ends of my hair that’s my grown out bleached part of my hair. Pastels are harder to get to take, but pink works well on my hair. I used cyan and it took very well and didn’t bleed. Also it’s a beautiful colour and I got a ton of compliments. I’ve just tried aqua and it was messier and bleeds like crazy so keep this in mind. It’s also a really pretty and intense colour, I would suggest trying a colour sealing product or products I guess. The colour itself though is my favourite so far. I just can’t imagine dying my whole head this colour due to the bleeding of the colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing colour I always colour my own hair, and when I wanted to red/ magenta again, I decided to give this line a try. I am SO impressed with the colour pay off, and not only that its about a month after my initial dye job, and I wash my hair 2x per week and the colour is still super vibrant and pretty. I previously had died my hair red last year using Pravana vivids, and it would fade to an orangey shade after 1 wash!! I don't know why this brand doesn't have higher rating as I am now a loyal customer to Ion Brights! Highly recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too thick We used the Shark Blue - great colour. However it was hard to apply and hard to wash out as it was very thick. I used it on my daughter and she has shorter hair - I could not imagine it working at all well with longer hair. But the colour was very nice and sharky.

I have light blonde dyed hair and want to add magenta highlights to my hair. Will the colour bleed to the rest of my hair? If so, how do I prevent too much bleeding?

Asked by: Linda1367
If you use foil, or some other type of separation, it shouldn't bleed onto your other hair

I want to dye my hair the rose colour but don't want to bleach my hair. I have light blonde hair but it's pretty dark blonde underneath. Will the rose look okay if I don't bleach? Just looking for something fun to do but want it to look good still!

Asked by: liinnddssay
So if you wan't a nice rose gold, you'll still need to bleach to get the right color other wise when you put on the dye it will come out more orangey, and there's a good chance the color might not absorb into your virgin hair. But i'd also say go for it regardless of what I say it might turn out better then expected. If yku do decide to bleach you'll want low level bleach like 10 volume maybe 15 at max. With you being already blonde it shouldn't take to long to bleach, also start at the ends of your hair not your scalp your scalp will bleach quicker than your ends because of the heat from your head. Best of luck.

Can I use titanium on grey/white hair without having to bleach? If not is there something that will give me a steel grey hair color(even if I have to use a developer and or toner) instead of white/grey hair?
